Trauma Therapy

Our treatment strategies focus on helping individuals process through their past and heal from the mental and emotional impact of their traumatic experiences.

Our goal is to provide a safe and open space for clients to explore their past, be open to change, and to develop skills and resources to move forward in life towards freedom from the pain.

Couples and Relationship Therapy

Couples therapy offers a safe and confidential setting for you to improve communication and trust with your significant other. Learning how to resolve conflicts will help you stop having the same arguments or feel like your partner is not hearing you. Our goal is not to point out who is right or wrong, but to stop patterns that get in the way of your connection and commitment. We strive to teach strategies to improve all aspects of your relationship in the current moment, but also equip you with skills for your future as a thriving couple.

ARFID

ARFID (Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder) is an eating disorder characterized by restricting food due to fear of the impact of food on your body. Individuals with ARFID report significant anxiety or fear of food and eating, fear of aversive effects (ex. Vomiting, poisoning, choking), or sensory concerns. This disorder does not include any body image concerns.

RO DBT Therapy

RO DBT (Radically Open Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) is a specialized treatment for individuals who tend to be over-controlled (OC). Some OC traits include being reserved, cautious, perfectionistic, low emotional expression, and rigid rule followers. Although these traits aren’t “bad” they tend to get in the way of living life. Individual therapy sessions focus on addressing these issues and assisting clients to find freedom from the over-controlled nature that drives them. RO DBT has been effective in working with clients with diagnoses of chronic depression, anxiety, autism spectrum disorders, obsessive-compulsive personality type, and anorexia nervosa.
